Ewan Mcgregor, en el personaje que lo dio a conocer a nivel mundial, Mark
Renton, corre apresurado junto a su amigo Spud, de sus bolsillos caen
los objetos que acaban de robar de una tienda.

Trainspotting, dirigida y adaptada por Danny Boyle, de una novela de
Irvine Welsh, nos trajo en 1996 la historia de un grupo de amigos, cuyo unico proposito en la vida despues de respirar, era el de tomar una jeringa y al estilo de Vincent Vega, sumirse en los profundos sueños de la heroina.

Una historia de amistad, de depresion, de conformismo y rebeldia, una vision del periodo transitorio por el que todos tenemos que pasar, cuando como Mark le dice a Tommy; I hate being Scottish. We're the lowest of the fucking low, the scum of the earth, the most wretched, servile, miserable, pathetic trash that was ever shat into civilization.

Mark no habla de ser escoces, habla de si mismo, de todos, quien no se ha sentido alguna vez se lo mas bajo de lo bajo? la basura mas vil, miserable y patetica del mundo?

Alguien dijo que esta pelicula podia haber sido parte de La Naranja Mecanica de Kubrick.

Cruda, real, divertida, Trainspotting, el libro, la pelicula, si duda una de mis favoritas al lado de la no-tan-alternativa Fight Club.
